Curious about the history of Christianity?

Me too. I am a professor of religion and a frequent speaker at adult forums and in churches. That means I both study the past and spend a lot of time thinking about how to make the past accessible without making it simplistic. As both a Christian and a historian, I’m always learning, trying to figure out how to make sense of our past and what it means for us today. I also know how hard it can be to find good resources for adult education groups. I have created this curriculum so that you can have accessible resources based on scholarly research as you explore the past and try to understand what it means for you today.

Accessibility and Nuance

The curriculum is designed to help you understand complicated topics by making them accessible, not by reducing their complexity.

Questions to Consider

The videoes and curriculum do not settle all the questions (that's not how history works!). They do raise questions you can continue to discuss .
